Vom Ron Philosophy

Vom Ron is primarily a breed preservationist kennel. We don't seek to ”IMPROVE” the breed with steep or roached toplines, crooked and overangulated hind legs, or nervous temperaments. The ideal here is to keep the breed as the breed founder, Capt. Max Von Stephanitz created it; no extremes in conformation, a sound mind in a sound body.

This is the breed that is to be first and foremost a working dog.  Sound of body, steady of nerve, trainable and adaptable.  Breeding stock consists of straight Border Patrol bloodlines, imported from Czech Republic as puppies,chosen for their strong nerves, dark pigment, and working pedigrees. They are then raised and trained here on the farm.  Quote from The German Shepherd Dog, by Capt.
